Focaleland will take over the Skeleton Room on the lower level of the historical Australian Museum for the winter series of Jurassic Lounge on the evening of 13 September.
They will play two live shows on the night – 6:30 and 8:30pm – in which the space will be filled with the transportive vocals, whispers and music-box guitar riffs of Flutter Lyon to be joined by the deliciously textural percussion and wicked electronics of Jared Underwood. Visionary Sydney interactive designer Lukasz Karluk will projection map his vivid Ink-Pressing inspired graphics onto a glossy white perspex projection disc that will hover above the performers. The graphics glowing in their monochromatic glory all the while evolving in real time in response to the live and improvised sound.
We are also incredibly excited to announce a special costume collaboration with Gavin Bradstreet and Dean Rankin of couture house Khrysalis. Think luscious black silk, white hair and plaited floor length cording.
There will be fluttering confetti by Mr Shankly and a brand new album to acquire.
